Justina is an interdisciplinary designer and researcher with a background in cultural and material investigation. She holds a BA in Design and an MA in Material Futures, combining conceptual thinking with next-gen material research, technical skills in 3D modelling, video editing, graphic design, and hands-on fabrication. With four years professional research experience along with 2 years experience in bio-tech material start-ups, she is dedicated to boundary-pushing, interdisciplinary projects across design and innovation.
She has worked for the bio-material company, BIOHM, as a Production Operative and Carbon Cell, as an R&D Consultant.
She has worked freelance for Colèchi, an ethical fashion research agency based out of Somerset house and Blue Garage, for 4 years. Here she has written and designed the Vegan Leather Guide, designed the visual identity for the Colèchi Clean Fashion Summits 2022/23/24 and is a researcher-writer-editor for the Colèchi Journal Issue.1 which looks at the relationship between fashion and agriculture.
